Public beta terms — draft
Last updated: July 26, 2026. These terms are an operational draft and require legal review before general public release.
Beta status
SheetDrop is an early browser-based spreadsheet editor. It is not Microsoft Excel and is not a complete replacement for an office suite.
Compatibility
Basic XLSX and CSV data, selected formulas, common formatting, multiple sheets, sorting, filtering, and export are supported. Macros, pivot tables, charts, external data links, named ranges, shared formulas, complex conditional formatting, and other advanced workbook features may be changed or removed when a new workbook is exported.
Protect important files
Work on a copy. Review the downloaded file before replacing an original, especially when the source workbook contains advanced features or business-critical data.
Input limits and availability
The service may reject files that exceed security or performance limits. Features, limits, sponsor behavior, and availability may change during the beta.
No execution of embedded code
Macros, embedded scripts, and external data refreshes are not executed. Do not rely on the service to inspect, disinfect, or preserve executable workbook content.
No warranty
The beta is provided as-is for evaluation. Production warranties, support commitments, refund rules, regional consumer provisions, liability limits, and governing-law terms must be added after legal review.
