Privacy notice — public beta draft
Last updated: July 26, 2026. This draft requires legal review before a general public launch.
Local workbook processing
The core editor opens, edits, calculates, and exports spreadsheet files in your browser. It does not automatically upload the workbook, filename, cell values, formulas, or clipboard contents to a server.
Local app data
The app may store language, sponsor-session state, coarse feature-event counts, locally saved feedback, and PWA cache files on this device. Coarse analytics do not contain workbook content or exact worksheet dimensions.
Optional feedback
When a production feedback endpoint is configured and you submit feedback, the service may receive your feedback type, message, optional email, language, coarse browser and operating-system family, file format, and an approximate data-size bucket. It does not receive the workbook, filename, cell values, formulas, or clipboard contents through this form.
If no endpoint is configured or it is unavailable, feedback may be stored only on this device. A configured beta endpoint retains feedback for the period set by the operator, currently designed for 1–365 days with a 90-day default.
PWA and offline cache
Installing the app or using it after the first visit may cache the application shell on this device. API requests and workbook files are not intentionally added to the app-shell cache.
Advertising
The included sponsor and banner areas are demonstrations until an advertising provider is configured. Workbook contents must not be used for ad targeting. Where law or provider policy requires consent, advertising and analytics must remain disabled until appropriate consent has been obtained.
Clear local data
Use “Clear local data” in the app to remove app-prefixed local settings, locally saved feedback, session data, and app caches. Closing the tab removes the active in-memory workbook, although browser download history and downloaded files remain under your control.
Contact and rights
A public operator identity, contact address, deletion-request process, and jurisdiction-specific rights notice must be added before general release.
